MJCC Committee Member Exhibition at Central Bank

**The exhibition is housed at the Polverista building of the Central Bank (access through Triton Square) and is open free to the public from the 5th to the 15th June 2023. **

The Japan Arts Festival in Malta was held between the 12th and 14th May 2023 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.

A collection of works executed with recycled materials was launched at the Central Bank of Malta on the 2 June 2023. The exhibition, entitled Skart Ghani, is dedicated to the memory of Fr. Marius Zerafa who inspired generations of Maltese artists.

The exhibition is housed at the Polverista building of the Central Bank (access through Triton Square) and is open free to the public from the 5th to the 15th June 2023.

The main attraction is Barbara’s latest work – a bouquet of flowers made up of shredded euros.

The inauguration ceremony saw a nice gathering of artists and art lovers at the Polverista Building. Short speeches were delivered by the Governor of the Central Bank, Profs. David Scicluna, and the artist and MJCC Committee member Mr. Joseph Barbara himself. Mr. Anthony Micallef, President of MJCC also attended the inauguration ceremony.
